And the other winners are …

Congratulations to Queensland journalist and writer Trent Dalton for winning both the Debut Fiction Award and the Overall Book of the Year Award at last Monday’s Indie Book Awards.

His extraordinary novel Boy Swallows Universe has been one of My Bookshop’s bestsellers since it first arrived on our shelves last year. Dalton’s double win ensures the book will reach new audiences and continue to grow in stature.

We were also very excited to see one of our favourite novels of 2018, Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak, pick up the Fiction Award. If you haven’t yet heard our bookseller Corrie Perkin’s interview with Markus Zusak, you can subscribe to

The Book Pod HERE and hear Episode 6, “Embrace The Chaos”.
